12/20/2020 - Weekly Newsletter.

The update is done, right now I'm wrapping things up so it should be out before the end of the year. The update advances the story with Lucile and Alice (and CS) in a significant amount and adds over 700CGs.

11/06/2020 - Weekly Newsletter.

By popular demand, real animation will be back to the game. The main reason why I droped them was because 1) doing these 4-6 loop animations are way more customizable so I could do my own animations without the need of restricting myself to the Koikatsu animation, and 2) to record one single animation, I have to record it at least 3 and I need each of them to keep a constant frame rate, and with my pc keeping it just once constant is like winning the lottery, not even mentioning that sex scenes have like 7-9 animations each things you do so if an scene has 3 things then it's 3* 7-9 * 3 = 63-81 times recordings. Definitely not a fun things to do, not even mentioning how frustrating and slow it is.

10/06/2020 - Weekly Newsletter.

The plans for v0.20 aren't defined yet. I've been trying to include a sex scene per update but at this point Nicole is the only stable sexual partner MC has, so the first scene of v0.20 will be Lucile's scene to stablish her as a sexual partner too and alternate between Nicole and her until the story reachs the other girls too.

09/06/2020 - Weekly Newsletter.

The update has in between 6 and 10 events depending on how you like to count them. Alice has one scene which players can replay if they choose the right choices, Cadence and Bob has one scene each about Cadence and Elly's talk on school (both are optional if players wish to skip it), Nicole has one replayable sex scene (no sex yet because of the romantic night but after that scene I will add sex to it) and Elly has the remaining six scenes with two of them being replayable and one that will be replayable in the future.

07/18/2020 - Weekly Newsletter (Happy Birthday Edition!).

Today, July 18, 2020, marks a year since the release of Complex Society. Did I think I would make it this far? Of course. A year isn’t that long and I’m not the kind of person who quits easily or feels okay leaving unfinished things. I even planned a shorter story as a backup in case I didn’t feel like doing this anymore after some time but I don’t think I will use it anytime soon. This game takes much more time and effort than what I originally thought at the beginning, but as long as it depends on me I plan to spend many more years working on this. Here’s the birthday cake.

06/29/2020 - Weekly Newsletter.

The first two weeks after the update were almost exclusively for writing. I did the poll for v0.19 (Patreon: Poll 1 - Poll 2, Subscribestar: Poll) and the big winner across all polls was Elly with 13 votes and Alice second with 8, which comes in handy because Elly's story involves Nicole (who had last update) and Alice so I can fill some holes on Nicole's story and advance the main plot (Complex Society) together with Alice. In case you're wondering, the other results were Lucile and Daiana with 4 votes and Nicole with 2 votes.

06/05/2020 - Weekly Newsletter.

Hello everyone. It’s time for a new weekly newsletter. For those who are new around here, I usually do a big public info post once every two weeks or once a week if I feel like I have something really important to say. I also do "Daily Reports" with more detailed info on what I did that day and how the game is progressing, usually with a preview pic. Those aren't really a "daily" thing but once every three days max.

05/10/2020 - Weekly Newsletter.

The update is pretty much done! Right now I'm wating for the final proofreading while working on a bunch of necessary things that I never do until the very end of each update. The update will be released as soon as possible for patreons and subscribestars, and the public release will be one or two weeks later depending on how much arrengements it needs and how close I'm to finish the other branch (see previous Weekly Newletter).

04/27/2020 - Weekly Newsletter.

I'm currently working on the last event of the update, a juicy H scene with Nicole.  Things has been particulary slow this time because my pc has been struggling more than usual. For the first half of the scene, which is already done, the scenes were taking up to 3-4 hours to load and 5-6 to save and I had 3 crashes in 6 days, so it wasn't just that my pc was slow and I had to spent those 3-4 hours doing nothing but also the fact that I didn't saved in those 6 days becuase I was trying to not waste those 5-6 hours of saving and use them to work, but I lost them at the crash anyway. Right now I'm writing this after the first crash since I started working on the second half.

04/03/2020 - Weekly Newsletter.

Right now I'm one event away of the end of the update but I still have to write and do a few more scenes for those who choosed to not tell Elly about Nicole's sleeping problems. The idea for this update is to end it in a juicy H scene (not related to the pic) and leave everything ready for the real sex scene in next updates.

03/18/2020 - Weekly Newsletter.

Hi everyone. It’s time for a new weekly newsletter. Sorry I forgot to do it these last weeks but I've been kinda busy and since I regulary post on Patreon and Subscribestar I have that necessity "covered" in my mind.

Nicole won the poll for v0.18 by one vote so it's blonde time! I've been working on her script and her events for the most part these days. Theorically, the update should end in a juicy scene with Nicole, leaving everything ready for a romantic night in future updates but before that there is story to cover (remember, this games is story based at the beginning but a fuck fest in the end) and I'm struggling with how to progress the story for those who choosed to stay quiet and don't ask Elly about Nicole's sleepings problem. To solve that I should create even more scenes before the juicy one and with that the update would get too long for my schedule, so maybe I will do a two parts update. I already have some things that need testing so it isn't a bad idea (more about that below).

02/29/2020 - Weekly's Newsletter

Hi everyone. For those who are new around here I usually do this weekly newsletter talking about what has been going with the game and the progress since last week. I also do daily reports in Patreon and Subscribestar.

Complex Society v0.17 is out now. It's the first update since I officially changed to monthly releases instead of bi-monthly as I initially wanted. The change was mostly because when I tried to do bi-monthly updates I got carried away and I took almost 4 months because I kept adding things, but so far all the monthly updates didn't take longer than a month and a half so I should be able to do more content in the long run.

    02/22/2020 - Weekly's Newsletter

    The update is out. It'll be released to the public around Wednesday-Thursday if nothing goes wrong. I think I'm gonna be saying this for a while and I'm gonna sound like a broken record for some of you, but I'm pretty sure most people don't read all these weekly newsletters and they only read one or two at most so every opportunity will be good to tell new players about this: I'm changing my updates schedule to monthly updates instead of bi-monthly like I initially intended. The reason of this is mostly because when I tried to do it bi-monthly it took me almost 4 months because I got carried away adding things but the times when I tried to do things monthly it took me a month and a half at most, so that way I should be able to do shorter updates but more consistent, which should mean more content in the long term.

    02/14/2020 - Weekly's Newsletter

    The update is almost ready, right now I'm working some bugs and visuals while I wait for the proofreading changes. I don't remember if I said it outside Patreon and Subscribestar but now I will be doing shorter but monthly updates because the time when I tried to make it bimonthly it tooks me almost four months, but the times I tried to do it monthly took me a month and a half at most, so this way maybe I will be able to do shorter updates but it will mean more content in the long term.

    01/30/2020 - Weekly's Newsletter

    The winners of the last Patreon poll for v0.17 were Alice and Elly so these weeks were about them. Elly will have an interview with the school nurse while with Alice we'll see what happens after her interview with the school nurse and how it affedted her. In Alice's event I will include more information about Complex Society but it's avoidable if you wish (but if you want to know why CS brought a sniper to the first meeting, you'll have to read) and some little time consuming activities to do with Alice.

    11/01/2020 - Weekly's Newsletter

    Hi everyone. It’s time for a new weekly newsletter. For those who are new around here I usually do this weekly newsletter talking about what has been going with the game and the progress since last week. I also do daily reports in Patreon and Subscribestar.

    After the last update I really needed a break from the Studio. Fortunately for me, this week is GDQ week so I’ve been chillin with it and I used this week to work on a new custom menu, something that I always wanted to do. Shutouts to rayminator, he spent like half week helping me with it in Lemma Soft Forums (the place to go for all your Ren’Py questions). I also changed how the Blog looks like, it’s way more cooler now.

    The update is done, a little later than what I expected, but it’s finally done. Usually when these delays happens I really don’t have any idea about what happened to cause the delay but this time I have one clear culprit: Animations (between others).
